Fuji Electric ZKM In-situ Zirconia Oxygen Analyser

This oxygen analyser is designed to provide reliable, fast response continuously measure oxygen concentration in combustible exhaust gas of industrial boilers or furnaces, and is ideally suited for combustion control and management.

The analyser system is comprised of the detector and converter coupled together as a complete system. Detector setting configuration includes the detector flow tube and zirconia detecting sensor. The flow tube is inserted directly into the gas and directs gas to the sensor for measurement. The converter (ZKM) is comprised of the signal processor, input/output and communications, display and system controls.

The converter is equipped with advanced functionality such as performing the sensor diagnostics and sensor recovery function, so the detector can be used within long term stability.

1. Fast Response for efficient combustion control

because the zirconia cell is inserted directly into the flue gas, the ZFK will respond to a 90% change in 4 seconds. This allows its 4-20mA signal to be used as the oxygen trim input in many combustion control packages.

2. No Sample systems to block or Maintain

As the oxygen detector is inserted directly into the flue gas, there is no need for a sample conditioning system. This provides lower cost of ownership, less maintenance and less process downtime. This feature also brings benefits to combustion of biomass or other fuels where the flue gas may have contaminants.

3. Easy maintenance

the sensor is equipped with a replaceable detector. The detector can be replaced without physically removing the probe or the guide tube from the flue.
4. More reliable than sensor diagnosis, sensor recoverable function
with some Oxygen sensors and flue gas compositions, zirconia cells can determinate over time. The new revolutionary sensor recovery feature allows the oxygen anaysers sensor to be regenerated electronically. This provides greater reliability and long-lasting stability.

5. Safe and secure

the system detects thermocouple break for heater control on the sensor side. The analyzer features the safety functions of either isolating power supply to the detector, or isolating power via external contact input.

6. Easy operation

Operating the ZFK gas analyzer includes self-tuning control which can be performed via the front panel, without the need for specialist communication equipment.

Analysing air pollution is the first step toward preserving a clean atmospheric environment. FUJI developed the first infra-red gas analyser in Japan to use mass-flow sensors. Since then, we have supplied customers with various types of gas analysers to support environmental preservation and control efforts. These efforts include measurements of atmospheric pollution and detection of low density of SOx and NOx, generated by incinerating facilities and boilers. FUJI's gas analysers are commonly used to monitor the atmosphere to help maintain a cleaner natural environment
